Homemade wraps are the best. The dough is super simple and easy and you can fill the wraps however you like.
INGREDIENTS (PORTION FOR 2)
DOUGH FOR THE WRAPS
300g whole grain flour
30 ml olive oil
150 ml water
2 tbsp salt
TOPPING
kidney beans
corn
salad or spinach
whole grain rice
chicken (or any other meat)
lime
tomato
avocado
chili
cheese: eg cheddar
PREPARATION
DOUGH
mix flour and salt
add olive oil to it and knead the dough
slowly add the water in small portions to the dough - keep kneading the dough until it is firm
let raise for 15 -20 minutes
divide in 6 pieces and roll them flat
bake in a pan from both sides (no oil needed)
IN THE MEANTIME (till dough is risen)
cut the veggies
fry the chicken
you can either do a guacomole with avocado, tomatoes, chili and lime juice in a blender or cut it all in small pieces and add the lime juice on top
Fill the wrap however you prefer
