WRAPS

Homemade wraps are the best. The dough is super simple and easy and you can fill the wraps however you like.


INGREDIENTS (PORTION FOR 2)

DOUGH FOR THE WRAPS

  • 300g whole grain flour

  • 30 ml olive oil

  • 150 ml water

  • 2 tbsp salt

TOPPING

  • kidney beans

  • corn

  • salad or spinach

  • whole grain rice

  • chicken (or any other meat)

  • lime

  • tomato

  • avocado

  • chili

  • cheese: eg cheddar


PREPARATION

DOUGH

  • mix flour and salt

  • add olive oil to it and knead the dough

  • slowly add the water in small portions to the dough - keep kneading the dough until it is firm

  • let raise for 15 -20 minutes

  • divide in 6 pieces and roll them flat

  • bake in a pan from both sides (no oil needed)

IN THE MEANTIME (till dough is risen)

  • cut the veggies

  • fry the chicken

  • you can either do a guacomole with avocado, tomatoes, chili and lime juice in a blender or cut it all in small pieces and add the lime juice on top

  • Fill the wrap however you prefer
